Our first foray into thin belts, as the Lobster is 2 cm high, pays tribute to the tiny belts worn with suits in 1950’s and 60’s. Taking the opposite view of this conservative style rule, a sharp and sassy buckle closes the loop. Its distinctive square shape on all 4 parts reminded us of the carapace of noble ocean inhabitants. Chic doesn’t have to be boring after all.
Without mentioning the rather unexpected leather choice: an exotic-effect embossed calfskin, adding a precious texture to the 2 not-so-serious colors: brown and Bordeaux.
